Late for Laguna!

I told Daniel to count down the drawers and close the store fast because I wanted to get home close to ten to see the new season of "Laguna Beach." Even though it was going to be an hour, I just had to see every little bit. Well at about ten til ten, Daniel told me to lock the doors to the store and turn out the lights and then he told me I could go ahead and clock out since I was his favorite employee to work with. Can we say, "Awwwww?" I'm a suck-up, what can I say? So I left and rushed over to Sonic to grab a bite to eat and the new cookie dough blast. I got a regular hamburger value meal with the coke and fries and I also ordered my ice cream. Okay, so like I waited behind four other cars for about 8 minutes....no waitress was coming out and it was two minutes past 10 pm!! Finally, my order comes out and I had everything except my hamburger. I had not paid for it and I didn't really mind all that much because I was really only going to Sonic get the ice cream and figured I should probably eat a meal. I actually don't like Sonic's food at all. So anyway, I left and went to Wendy's. There were five cars ahead of me in line, but no fret because this Wendy's is the fastest fast food joint anywhere! I ordered my single burger and received it in less than two minutes! Believe me, I counted because I was eager to get home to see my show and I was also starving. I didn't get home til 10:20. There better be a re-run of that episode! Thanks Sonic for being way too slow!

My dad will be leaving tomorrow to go to South Carolina to take care of his parents. His dad has a staph infection and so he needs a ride to the doctor almost daily and neither grandparent can drive anymore. Their children are trying to put them in a nursing home, but my grandfather absolutely refuses to go. We are not sure how long dad will be there...it could be a pretty good while because he is the only child close enough to take care of them. It's going to be weird just living with my mom and brother for a while. Not liking that thought already...I miss him and he hasn't even left yet...
